The role
The Company Secretarial Manager is a key role within Fund Accounting operations and entails managing the delivery of a top-quality company secretarial support function to JPMorgans clients.  These services are high profile and vital to the continued development and success of JPMorgans operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational
&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Preparation, compilation, and dispatch of board packs in a timely manner to Board of Directors. Attendance at Board, General and ad hoc Meetings, as required
&lt;LI&gt;Recording of minutes and action items arising from meetings
&lt;LI&gt;AIC reporting.
&lt;LI&gt;Company Announcements to the London Stock Exchange including:

Control/Risk
&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Co-ordinate with Product the delivery of new Technical Information and guidance to Clients. 
&lt;LI&gt;Ensure there is an effective review of all information issued to clients
&lt;LI&gt;Promote an effective and frequent dialogue with other operational departments in Edinburgh (particularly Statutory Accounts and Fund Accounting). Facilitate and influence any necessary process and procedural improvements.
&lt;LI&gt;Act as reference point for internal or client queries concerning company secretarial support service to the client. Anticipate possible client concerns and issues.&lt;/UL&gt;

Client/Service Delivery
&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Ensure that client needs are understood, addressed and resolved in a complete and timely manner.  Recommend and/or initiate corrective action when service levels fall short of standard 
&lt;LI&gt;Manage effective delivery of clients service requirements
&lt;LI&gt;Adopt flexible approach to ensure client deadlines are met
&lt;LI&gt;With the Company Secretarial Analyst, responsible for managing proactively the Client Relationship within the Company Secretarial Support function

Staff
&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Responsible for managing and developing team members, working with them to ensure key client requirements are met.
&lt;LI&gt;Responsible for carrying out the appraisal process for their direct reports, agreeing / monitoring the associated training / development plans and reviewing progress towards the objectives.&lt;/UL&gt;

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

The Role

The Company Secretarial Support Analyst is a key role reporting to the Company Secretarial Support (CSS) Manager working within Funds Service operations and entails ensuring the delivery of a top-quality company secretarial support function to J.P. Client/Service Delivery
